AP Language and Composition was not what I expected. When I signed up for the class, I expected a class where there was going to be daily lesson plan, journal entries, and a lot of essays'. However, it was totally different. Mr. Pinza's class wasn't the typical class. We analyzed readings together as a class and he would ask for our contribution, so all of us understood the rhetoric. Now when I read, my brain has been programed to look for the rhetorical device used in the writing. I have been able to write "B" worthy essays in 45 minutes. Mr. Pinza told us to create a blog to talk about the career we want. This blog has helped me figure out the job I want as an adult. The career I will have for the rest of my life.
This school year, my junior year has been the best year of my life. I have made decisions that will define my life, I have made new goals, and achievements. I feel proud of what I have accomplished so far, and a lot is due to Mr.Pinza's class and the way he teaches. I am looking forward to next year because I will have classes that will challenge me. It will be my senior year and I will have as much fun as I can.

Computer science is a very interesting subject. Computer science is different than computer programming. In computer programming, programs are designed for many reasons, some that could even change the world. Computer science on the other hand is going more in depth of computers. Math becomes a huge factor, new fields of mathematics are opened up. I have found, that majoring in computer science will help me in my carrier of becoming a special agent in the FBI. Studies show, if one majors in computer science they are more effective in their work. After one majors in computer science, they can continue persuing a career in law, medicine, and business. With computer science one finds computing problems and solutions, creates designs of computer systems from a scientific perspective, and computer development. Computers are the future; to be able to help create the new versions of computers and know how they work, would be just perfect.

Now more than ever I am excited, to later in my future, work in the FBI. After doing a more thorough research on how to become a special agent, I know what I need to do. The simple fact that every day is completely different than the other satisfies me. FBI agents work in matters including terrorism, foregin counter intelligence, cyber crime, organized crime, financial crimes, bribery, bank robbery, extortion, kidnapping, air piracy, interstate criminal activity, etc. This is why it is okay to get a bachelor degree in accounting, behavioral science, computer science, engineering, information technology, law, and foregin language.
So after all I major in engineering and still be able to work in the FBI, however it all depends on what section I work in and where. Getting transfered is something common, I can work in the United States or be sent to another country and work there for a while.
My next step will be to research the FBI's history and how it was created and who started the corporation. :)

I was struggling on what career I wanted. However the past month has helped me make up my mind. I want to be in the Criminal Justice field. There's a show call "Alaska State Troopers" and it's about the life of the troopers and the type of situations they deal with. All of what happenes in the show gets me excited, it gives me a feeling of "Yes I want to do that too." Being in the field of criminal justice involves a lot of mental capasity in being able to be calm in situations that are nowhere near sereness. It takes someone who is brave and has a passion on wanting the people to be safe. I have that passion.
In this field there will always be something new, everyday will be different. That's exactly what I want, everyday to be different and interesting, I am not a fan of routines and for my job to be a routine, no.
Criminal Justice itself has several categories and it gives the opportunity to work in several of them, unless you are officially assigned in a postion. However if you're able to show potential and leadership, your may rise in postion and later become the boss. That's another one of my goals. For now im glad my mind is made up and I am looking forward to researching more information about criminal justice and someday being a part of it.

FBI?
FBI or Engineer?
In my last blog I talked about wanting the Federal Bureau of Investigation as my career goal. However, I'm not so sure anymore. The math class I am in right now is trigonometry/Pre-Calculus, and I really like that class. I have always been a fan of math and to be at this level of it and understand and like it, it amazes me. One day I was in class and my teacher mentioned the math we are using is what engineers use to built building and structures. I was surprised because, not that it was extremely easy but I understood it and i really liked it.Ever since that day I kept thinking it over and of what I should do. I did a little more research on the different types of engineering careers. There are so many different types of engineers and most of them sound so interesting, however the one that caught my eye more was Aerospace Engineer. They are the ones that built, analyze, and test aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, missiles, and rockets. I'm the type of person that when I look at an object I wonder how it's made. Due to that I think engineering would be a great career path and a very interesting one.
When I told my parents about changing my career path they were very ecstatic. They completely agreed with it and preferred this career then me being in the FBI. Although it may seem I'm also completely on board on being an engineer, I am not. Im so confused on what I should so because I love both of the career paths so much. On the bright side I do not have to make an official decision yet. I still have time.

FBI unit
My name is Ana. I am 16 years old. Ever since I was little I dreamed in working in the law enforcement. To be more specific the FBI, Federal Bureau of Investigation. The FBI is an agengy that belongs to the United States Department of justice, they are responsible for investigating crimes on Indian reservations in the United States under the Major Crimes Acts. I love the investigation unit. It amazes me how incredible their skills are into finding out how a crimes happened. I like the mistery and when they find out who committed the crime and put them in jail, it brings a sense of safety to he community. That is what i want, to protect the community, to try to end the violence and the crimes. I won't be able to end the violence and crimes completely but I want to atleast reduce the number of crimes.
